Scrapbook, [ca. 1832-1884].

Scrapbook begun by Cozzens in 1860 with the intention of giving it to his nephews, added to probably by Deborah Cozzens Barnard, his daughter. Latest dated item is 1884. Primarily clippings of poems, many patriotic; historical items on the Revolutionary and Civil Wars; historical biographies; and jokes and other humorous items. Handwritten items include songs from the Revolutionary War recorded by Cozzens' father. Several loose items include a pencil drawing by Cozzens of the fish Anthis macropthalmus.
